Mahilpur- A special meeting was organized by the Kisan Wing at the honorable Deputy Speaker and Constituency MLA Sardar Jai Krishan Singh Raudi. In which the block level officers of the wing, area head farmer leaders, village level representatives and a large number of farmer brothers participated. The meeting was led by the President of the Kisan Wing Sardar Kamaljit Singh Jassowal, who welcomed everyone and informed about the efforts being made for the welfare of the farmers.
During the meeting, first of all, the problems related to agriculture, crop pests, seasonal changes, increasing prices of pesticides, shortage of fertilizers were discussed. On this occasion, Deputy Speaker Sardar Jai Krishan Singh Raudi listened to the problems of the farmers seriously and assured that every issue would be resolved by immediately reaching the concerned departments.
In this meeting, information was also shared about the development of new technology in agriculture, water conservation systems, improved seed varieties, organic farming and new farm-to-market schemes. The Kisan Wing also decided to organize information camps in every village and connect farmers with new schemes so that no farmer is deprived of government facilities.
It was also decided by them that new youth members will be added at the village and block levels to organize farmers, so that the agricultural front can be given more strength.
Finally, the chief officers of the wing thanked all the members who arrived and said that the farmer is the builder of the future and his progress is the progress of the state and the country. They appealed to all the farmers to stay together and fight for their rights and make agriculture stronger.
