Medical and distribution camp organized
SAS Nagar, October 13 – Leaders and Listeners organization in collaboration with Park Group of Hospitals, Mohali, organized a medical and distribution camp at Dharamkot Randhawa, Dera Baba Nanak to provide essential medical assistance and relief to the residents of flood-affected areas.
Leaders and Listeners founder Ritu Singh, Punjab state president Pritha Kaukar and Haryana president Honey said that the organization had earlier sent medicines to various villages, but there was a lack of proper guidance on their use without proper medical advice.
They said that to solve this problem, a team of doctors, including Dr Vikas, Dr Anish, and Dr Malvinder Cheema, was deployed on the spot to conduct examinations, prescribe treatment and ensure that each medicine reaches the right people with correct instructions. They said that the organization has also adopted 50 families in the area.
They have been provided with essential household supplies including food, sanitary items and daily necessities. He said that Harpreet Singh, a social activist from Dharamkot Randhawa, provided invaluable assistance in organizing and coordinating the camp at the ground level.
