Hoshiarpur: Max Hospital, Mohali, announced the launch of its specialized oncology OPD services at City Hospital, Hoshiarpur, on Monday.
Oncology Consultant Dr. Sandeep Gupta will be available for initial consultations and follow-ups on the fourth Monday of every month, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Gupta stated that early diagnosis is one of the most critical factors in the successful treatment of cancer. With the launch of these oncology OPD services, patients will be able to access expert consultations, cancer risk assessments, evaluations of suspicious symptoms, second opinions, treatment planning, and follow-up care—all close to home. The initiative aims to provide timely guidance to patients and connect them with advanced cancer treatment services when required.
He added that this OPD would serve as a vital link between local communities and specialized cancer care services, thereby assisting patients more effectively with diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.
