Karnal, October 11: On his arrival at the PPT presentation, working model making, and chart making competition organized by the Mathematics Department at DAV PG College, Dr. Rampal Saini, Vice Chancellor of Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University, Jind, and Principal of the college, was welcomed by Dr. Rama Garg, Dr. Tina, Dr. Neha, Dr. Monica, and Shashi on behalf of the department with a bouquet of flowers. In the competition, all the students presented on various topics and clarified the subject.
Discussing the models and charts created by the students, the Principal said that competitions not only boost students' enthusiasm but also enhance their knowledge. Participating in competitions helps students learn. Therefore, students should actively participate in such events and inspire other students to do the same.
He said that mathematics is a very important and comprehensive subject, which requires study. Mathematics is also needed in everyday tasks. Therefore, your interest in mathematics can lead you to a good position in the future. Furthermore, continued study can also help you achieve fame in other fields.
He encouraged all students to progress and assured them of all possible support. In the PPT presentation competition, Mehak from MSc., Arshdeep from BCA, secured second place, and Riya and Nancy secured third place. Priyanshi from BCA secured first place in chart making, Narendra secured second place, and Kamal and Luv from BCom secured third place.
In the working model competition, Shivansh, Soni, Prince, Lavish, Parsh, and Akshit secured first place, Nisha and Hina secured second place, and Tanisha, Bhumika, Deepanshi, Tanish, and Lucky secured third place. Approximately 30 students participated in the competition, and the Principal honored the students who secured first, second, and third places in the various competitions with prizes and certificates.
The Principal also encouraged all the students who participated in the competition by presenting them with certificates. Dr. Balram Sharma, Dr. Anita, Dr. Priyanka, Dr. Sipra, Dr. Amit, Vikram, and all other staff members were present on the occasion.
