Mata Shri Chintpurni Festival from November 14th to 16th
Una, October 23rd - The Mata Shri Chintpurni Festival, which has taken religious and cultural tourism to new heights, will be celebrated with devotion and enthusiasm this year from November 14th to 16th. This information was given by Deputy Commissioner, Una, Jatin Lal.
It is noteworthy that the first edition of the festival, held at Amb Ground from September 26th to 28th last year, was a huge success. This event not only captivated devotees and tourists but also established a unique identity in the state's religious and cultural calendar. The festival, by integrating faith and folk culture, has made its mark as an inspiring cultural initiative.
Deputy Commissioner, Jatin Lal, stated that the Mata Shri Chintpurni Festival has emerged as a unique confluence of faith, culture, and prosperity. The cultural evenings, folk art performances, sports competitions, and public participation programs organized during this festival will powerfully showcase Himachal's vibrant folk culture.
He said that the Una district administration is fully engaged in preparations for the festival with dedication and commitment. Teams from all departments have been formed, and necessary work is being carried out at a rapid pace, ensuring that the event is not only well-organized but also provides an unforgettable experience for every visitor.
Meanwhile, Shri Chintpurni MLA Sudarshan Bablu said that under the guidance of Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, the state government is continuously striving to promote religious and cultural tourism. For this purpose, the Mata Shri Chintpurni Festival was launched last year, which was a great success.
He said that this year, the festival, besides being a festival of faith and culture, will also provide new impetus and direction to the economic, social, and tourism progress of the region.
