Mata Brahmacharini is a symbol of simplicity penance and unwavering devotion Bajrang Garg
Hisar:– On the second day of Chaitra Navratri, a program of worship of Brahmacharini Ji was organized at Shri Prayag Giri Shivalaya Trust under the leadership of the Trust’s President Bajrang Garg. A large number of devotees participated in it. The temple and the court of the Goddess were decorated in a grand manner.
While addressing, the President of the institution, Bajrang Garg, said that Mata Brahmacharini is a symbol of simplicity, penance and unwavering devotion. The form of Mata Brahmacharini teaches us discipline, restraint and how to face even difficult situations. The Goddess wears white clothes; in one hand she holds a rosary of Rudraksha and in the other a Kamandal.
Bajrang Garg said that Mata Sati was reborn as Parvati in the house of Himalaya and, on the advice of Narad Ji, performed severe penance for thousands of years without food and water to attain Lord Shiva as her husband, due to which she came to be known as Brahmacharini. During Navratri, by worshipping Mata Durga, devotees’ every wish is fulfilled. By observing fasts, practicing devotion and spiritual discipline for all nine days, Mata Durga becomes pleased.
On this occasion, Om Prakash Asija, Ramesh Patwari, Jagat Narayan, Pandit Mangeram Sharma, Narayan Das Bansal, Kailash Chaudhary, Surendra Singla, Sandeep Pakhada, Mrs. Renu Pahuja, Sushma Sharma, Meenakshi Sharma, Vandana Maurya, Savita Jetli, Neetu Garg and many other devotees were present in large numbers.
