Karnal, October 8: A wave of joy was seen in Karnal on the completion of one year of the BJP's third consecutive victory in the Haryana Assembly elections. A year ago, the BJP had won five assembly seats in Karnal district and a total of nine seats in the Panipat Lok Sabha constituency.
Guru Prasad Singh, former executive member of the Haryana Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, and Indrapal Singh, general secretary of the Guruparva Management Committee, said that former Chief Minister Manohar Lal has been the main architect of the BJP's victories so far.
They said that Manohar Lal showed courage and guided the BJP to contest the elections alone in 2014. His hard work and clean image led the BJP to victory. They said that the system Manohar Lal provided to the state resulted in the BJP's third victory in Haryana.
Guru Prasad Singh said that Manohar Lal resigned as Chief Minister and appointed his trusted aide Nayab Singh Saini as Chief Minister. In the past year, former CM Manohar Lal's team has done excellent work. Manohar Lal's role as a Union Minister has enabled Haryana to benefit from numerous central government schemes. Manohar Lal is proving himself to be a key architect of better coordination between the central and Haryana governments. He stated that Jagmohan Anand, Harvinder Kalyan, Ram Kumar Kashyap, and Bhagwan Das Kabirpanthi from Karnal district are working as part of Union Minister Manohar Lal's team. People are pleased with the development work this team is carrying out under Manohar Lal's leadership.
