Karnal, November 27: District Town Planner Gunjan stated that on Thursday, the office team, with the assistance of police, carried out demolition operations against 4 illegal colonies in Karnal. The demolition was carried out under the supervision of the duty magistrate and police.
She stated that the first illegal colony was located in Bada village, with an area of ??approximately 13.5 acres. In this colony, the boundary walls of all the plots and all the paved roads were demolished.
The second illegal colony was located in Naval village, with an area of ??approximately 10 acres. In this colony, the boundary walls of all the plots and all the DPCs were demolished. Similarly, the third illegal colony was located in Naval village, with an area of ??approximately 1.5 acres. In this colony, all the DPCs, the entire sewerage network, and all the paved roads were demolished. The fourth illegal colony was located near the Kailash Stadium village, covering approximately 7 acres. All the unpaved roads in this colony were demolished.
The District Town Planner is continuously carrying out demolition operations. He also files FIRs against those involved in illegal colonies and illegal construction. He also periodically informs everyone that strict action will be taken against those promoting illegal colonies and illegal construction.
He stated that all measures are being taken to curb illegal colonies and illegal construction, and no laxity will be tolerated in taking action against illegal colonies and illegal construction.
The District Town Planner appealed to the public not to fall into the trap of dealers and to purchase plots in legal colonies within the city and build their homes.
