Mahilpur Police Arrest Accused Individuals and Recover Stolen Vehicles Inspector Ramandeep Kaur
Hoshiarpur: Acting in accordance with the state government's directives—and under the leadership of senior police officials as part of an ongoing campaign against anti-social elements—Police District Chief Sandeep Kumar Malik, DSP Garhshankar Daljit Khakh, and Mahilpur Station House Officer (SHO) Inspector Ramandeep Kaur issued orders for action. Consequently, ASI Rachhpal Singh, along with his police team, was on duty near the village of Tutomajara.
While on duty, the team received intelligence that individuals involved in motorcycle theft in the region—identified as Sahil alias 'Sha' (son of Vikramjit), Vivek alias 'Babbu' (son of Manoj Kumar), and Vansh Kumar (son of Manoj Kumar), all residents of Village Vilaron; along with Harinder Suman alias 'Inder' (son of Nirmal Das), a resident of Ward No. 13, Mohalla Jora, Garhshankar—were roaming the area riding two separate motorcycles.
The information suggested that if a search operation were conducted, these individuals could be apprehended along with the stolen motorcycles. Acting swiftly on this intelligence, the police took immediate action to arrest the accused individuals. From their possession, the police recovered seven motorcycles and one scooter; further interrogation of the accused is currently underway.
