Hoshiarpur- Local Government Minister Dr. Ravjot Singh today visited Mohalla Sundar Nagar in Hoshiarpur and met the local residents and listened to their problems. While inspecting the constituency, he took stock of the major problems related to water supply, sewerage and cleanliness.
During this, MLA from Hoshiarpur Bram Shankar Jimpa, Mayor Surinder Kumar and Commissioner Municipal Corporation Jyoti Bala Mattu were also present with him. Dr. Ravjot Singh gave strict instructions to the concerned officials on the spot that all the pending problems of the constituency should be resolved as soon as possible so that the people do not have to face any kind of difficulty.
He clearly said that providing facilities to the public is the priority of the government and no negligence in this regard will be tolerated. The Cabinet Minister said that the objective of the Punjab government is to provide basic facilities to every Mohalla and village in a smooth manner. He said that monitoring has also been intensified at the department level to resolve the grievances of the people so that permanent solutions to the problems can be ensured.
Dr. Ravjot Singh assured the people that their problems would be resolved on priority basis and the development works of the constituency would be accelerated.
