Live and let live travel but not destruction save safety respect and gratitude
Patiala:- On the occasion of the United Nations Day of International Human Rights and Duties, under the patronage of Principal Mrs. Ravneet Walia, students and teachers were informed about traffic rules, laws and duties at Mahindra College near Todral Eastwood School, and were made aware of the mistakes and negligence of parents and the need to issue challans.
Chief Trainer of First Aid, Safety, Health Awareness Mission Mr. Kaka Ram Verma, ASI Ram Saran of Traffic Education Cell, Alka Arora Ji and students of Green Well High School Patiala told the young children of Eastwood School the importance of proper use of traffic rules, laws, principles, duties, helmets, seat belts. While walking or driving on the roads, patience, peace, humility, tolerance, discipline and gratitude to everyone were made aware.
Children were taught to make traffic signals on the roads like traffic policemen. Training was given to call for police, ambulances, fire brigade services to save victims during traffic accidents. Kaka Ram Verma said that remembering Shri SK Ahluwalia, IAS, former Commissioner, Patiala Mandal, by encouraging the small children of the school to follow the rules, laws, principles and duties, Ravneet Walia ji is preparing the children to make them loyal, responsible, honest, hardworking citizens of the country and helpful angels of the victims.
The school honored Shri Kaka Ram Verma, who has been making commendable efforts to educate students, teachers, and employees about safety, first aid, fire safety, and disaster management for the past 45 years. Alka Arora said, love life, follow rules, laws, principles, and duties.
