Livasa Hospital Mohali completes over 500 neuronavigation surgeries

Mohali: Livasa Hospital Mohali on Thursday announced the successful completion of over 500 neuro-navigation guided surgeries.
At a press conference here today, Director of Neuro and Spine Surgery Dr. Vineet Sagar said, “Neuro-navigation is an advanced computer-guided system that allows neurosurgeons to view the brain and spine with great precision during surgery. It is like a GPS for the human nervous system, and it uses MRI/CT-based 3D maps to help surgeons navigate critical structures with precision.”
Neurosurgery Consultant Dr. Ajay said that this technology has become crucial for the treatment of brain tumors, complex spinal diseases, severe injuries and other high-risk neurosurgical conditions, which allows for smaller incisions, less tissue disruption and faster recovery.
