Livasa Hospital Amritsar launches AI Robotic Joint Replacement Surgery Program
Amritsar:- Livasa Hospital, Amritsar on Thursday announced the launch of its ‘AI Augmented Robotic Joint Replacement Surgery Program’ for orthopedic care.
This new program will be led by Dr. Sukhpal Singh Mann and Dr. Aditya Bhardwaj, Senior Consultant, Ortho and Joint Replacement.
Dr. Sukhpal Singh Mann said that this state-of-the-art technology will help in performing highly precise and customized knee replacement surgery as per the patient’s requirement, ensuring better positioning of the implant, proper alignment and maximum preservation of healthy bone and soft tissues.
Dr. Aditya Bhardwaj said that this technology will provide better outcomes to the patients, such as faster recovery, less pain after surgery and better long-term performance of the implant.
Dr. Mann further explained that robotic-assisted joint replacement surgery combines the surgeon's experience with the precision of cutting-edge technology.

He said that under the rehabilitation protocol followed under the supervision of experts, most patients can start walking within a few hours of surgery.
