Hoshiarpur:- Lions Club Hoshiarpur Pearl organized a family reunion event under the leadership of President Lion Vijay Arora, in which the club members participated along with their families. On this occasion, Region Chairman Lion Harjit Singh Bhatia and Zone Chairman Bharat Bhushan Tuli were specially present. The event began by lighting the lamp.
After this, District Chairman (Eye Donation) and Chief Social Worker Sanjeev Arora welcomed all the families present and wished them a happy new year. Secretary Lion Umesh Rana gave information about the projects implemented by the club and also outlined the projects to be undertaken in the coming time.
On this occasion, President Lion Vijay Arora said that along with service works, the Lions Club also tries to bring members and their family members closer to each other and connect them with Indian culture through social and family events.
He said that strong family ties are the foundation of social service. On this occasion, prominent social worker Sanjeev Arora, especially addressing the children, said that in today's era, the young generation is getting more attracted towards Western culture, due to which Indian culture, rituals and traditions are gradually being forgotten. With this purpose, family reunions are organized so that the young generation abandons Western culture and adopts Indian culture.
He said that Indian festivals, family values ??and social unity provide us with mental peace and social balance. Colorful programs were presented during the event, which included songs, music, dance and entertaining activities. Especially on the hymns of Lord Krishna, Aishvi Arora danced beautifully and Ayansh Arora captivated everyone by dancing Bhangra. Apart from this, special sports competitions were organized for women and senior members, which were enjoyed by everyone.
