Ratia, June 29: Lion Shiv Soni, Secretary of Lions Club Ratia Town, was honored with the International Leadership Medal by International President Lion A.P. Singh in recognition of his commendable contributions to the Lions movement. This award, sent by the International President, was presented to him by former International Director Lion Vijay Singh Chauhan during the District Award Ceremony organized by District Governor Lion Vishal Vadhera at Kandaghat. Speaking on the occasion, the District Governor noted that the International organization had awarded the Leadership Medal to only nine members across all 133 clubs in the district.
Commending Lion Soni, he stated that over the past 26 years, Lion Soni has established a distinct identity through his service activities and effective leadership within both the club and the district, making him truly deserving of this award. He added that, in view of his competence, the newly appointed District Governor Lion Sanjay Gandhi has entrusted him with the responsibility of District Secretary, and he expressed full confidence that Soni would live up to this role.
In addition to this, Lion Soni was also honored with the 'Best Secretary of the District' award, the District's 'Netritva Shiromani' (Leadership Excellence) Award, and the Melvin Jones Fellow Trophy.
Club President Kapish Gupta, Region Chairman Vijay Jindal, Treasurer Lal Singh, newly appointed Secretary Anish Chopra, and other members congratulated Lion Soni on this honor. They also expressed their gratitude to the District Governor, noting that this recognition has earned the club a new identity at the international level.
