Chandigarh, November 19:- The Haryana Government has nominated Link Officers with the aim of ensuring smooth functioning of the Zila Parishads and DRDAs in the absence of their Chief Executive Officers.
According to a letter issued by Chief Secretary Mr. Anurag Rastogi in this regard, in the case of Chief Executive Officers of Zila Parishads and DRDAs, the Additional Deputy Commissioner of the same district has been nominated as Link Officer-1, the District Municipal Commissioner has been nominated as Link Officer-2 and the Sub-Divisional Officer (Citizen) of the head office sub-division of the district has been nominated as Link Officer-3.
These Link Officers will look after the functioning of those Zila Parishads and DRDAs in the absence of the concerned officer due to leave, training, visits, election duty and transfer or retirement or for any other reason.
