License of Versatile Group of Education Firm Suspended

Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, October 31: In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 6(1)(e) of the Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act-2012, Additional District Magistrate Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar Smt. Geetika Singh has suspended the license issued to Versatile Group of Education Firm SCF No. 23, First Floor, Phase 6 Mohali, District-Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar for consultancy work for a period of three months with immediate effect.
Giving information, Additional District Magistrate Smt. Geetika Singh said that the owner of Versatile Group of Education Firm, Ms. Monica Thakur, daughter of S. Amrit Lal Village and Post Office: Dhawali, Tehsil Sarkaghat, District Mandi, Himachal Pradesh Now House No. 291, Sector 56, Chandigarh License No. License No. 482/IC. Dated 21.03.2022 was issued for consultancy work which is valid till 20.03.2027.
Additional District Magistrate Mrs. Geetika Singh said that the licensee was instructed through a letter from this office regarding the report to be sent, report regarding advertisements/seminars and half-yearly report. But despite issuing a letter to the firm by this office, monthly reports, self-declaration form, business related seminars/advertisements etc. have not been sent (from the month of January/2025 till now). 
Apart from this, the documents regarding sending half-yearly reports to the Home Affairs and Justice Department, Punjab Government and information regarding advertisements/seminars etc. conducted by the firm (since the issuance of license till now) have not been sent. Regarding which a notice was issued to the licensee through a letter. But even after the lapse of this time, no reply and report has been received at this office yet.
He said that H.C. Dinesh Kumar, Economic Offence Wing SP Rohtak Haryana registered FIR No. 386 dated 28.06.2025 against the firm through a letter. Regarding which a reply and report was submitted by the licensee. But since this report was incomplete, notice letters were also issued to the licensee. But even after the lapse of this time, no reply and report has been received at this office yet.
He said that the firm has not sent the monthly report from January/2025 till now, the half-yearly report sent to the government and the information regarding the advertisements/seminars etc. conducted by the firm (from the date of issuance of the license till now), and has not submitted the status report/clarification of FIR No. 386 dated 28-06-2024 against the firm, and the licensee has violated the provisions of Section 6(1)(e) of the Punjab Travel Professionals Regulation Act-2012.
Therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred under the provisions of Section 6(1)(e) of the Punjab Travel Professionals Act-2012, the license No. 482/IC dated 21.03.2022 issued to the firm Versatile Group of Education has been suspended for three months from 30.10.2025.
A notice has been issued to the licensee under Section 6(1)(e) of the Punjab Travel Professionals Regulation Act, 2012, giving it 15 days to clarify its position.
