Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, 10 February, 2026:- Exercising the powers conferred under Section 6(1)(E) of the Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act-2012, the Additional District Magistrate, Mrs. Gitika Singh, has cancelled the license of Nehmat Immigration Language Test Services Firm.
According to the Additional District Magistrate, Nehmat Immigration Language Test Services Firm, Shop No. 218, Second Floor, Block-3, Oxford Street, Lohgarh, Zirakpur, Sub-Tehsil Zirakpur, District Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, owned by Mr. Abhinav Sharma, son of Mr. Ravinder Kumar Sharma, House No. 114, Ashiana Colony, Ward No. 06, Dera Bassi, Tehsil Dera Bassi, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, was issued License No. 736/IC dated 27.11.2024 for the work of IELTS Coaching Institute and Consultancy, which was valid up to 26.11.2029.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner stated that due to the licensee’s failure to submit monthly reports and information related to advertisements as per the Act/Rules and Advisory, failure to get the license renewed, failure to comply with the terms and conditions of the license, and failure to submit a reply/explanation to the notice, the firm and the licensee violated the provisions of Section 6(1)(E) of the Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act-2012.
In view of the above facts, while exercising the powers conferred under Section 6(1)(E) of the Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act-2012, License No. 736/IC dated 27.11.2024 issued to Nehmat Immigration Language Test Services Firm has been cancelled with immediate effect.
In addition, as per the Act/Rules, if in the future any complaint etc. is received against the said company/firm/partnership or its licensee/directors/partners of the firm, then the said company/director/partner/licensee shall be fully responsible for the same and shall also be responsible for compensating for it.
