A businessman was murdered in broad daylight in Nawanshahr district. A youth was murdered in Hoshiarpur district. Mahilpur Manni Changer looted in broad daylight in a crowded market, the black money coming to the traders and businessmen who are doing their business peacefully has made life difficult for the people.
This view was expressed by Gurnek Singh Bhajjal, District Secretary CPIM and Sub-Secretary Member Punjab, while talking to selected journalists that incidents of cybercrime in Punjab have taken the breath of the people day by day. There has been a huge increase in incidents of theft. People's houses are being robbed, motorcycles, cars, bicycles etc. People come and go empty-handed.
The police does not pay any attention to this. Aam Aadmi Party which used to say that our government will also end the IP culture. But a large part of the police is engaged in protecting the governments. It used to take a jibe at the previous governments and Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh and say that when we do not do wrong things, why is there a need for protection?
Today, people, upset by these incidents, have been forced to close the markets and stage protests at the offices of police officers. In the coming days, secular parties will be mobilized and prepared to launch a struggle against the government.
