Late Shangara Singh Bhullars autobiography Yaadaan da Darpan release event on 3
Chandigarh:- In the field of Punjabi journalism, the Language Department, Government of Punjab has launched the autobiography of late Shangara Singh Bhullar, a Shiromani Journalist Awardee and editor of four renowned Punjabi newspapers, 'Yaadaan da Darpan', edited by Dr. Balwinder Singh Thind, on March 3 at 10.30 am at Chandigarh Press Club Sector 27-B, in collaboration with Punjabi Writers' Association (Regd.), Chandigarh. The chief guest at this event is the Honorable Speaker of Punjab Vidhan Sabha Kultar Singh Sandhwan, who will unveil the book. The presiding officers of this event will be Principal Sarwan Singh, Shamsher Sandhu, Baljit Balli, Mannohan Singh Daun and Ninder Ghunyanvi.
It is worth mentioning that the late Shangara Singh Bhullar had written his autobiography during the last phase of his life, but fate took its course and the work of giving it a book form remained incomplete.
Dr. Balwinder Singh Thind, Head of the Punjabi Department of Guru Nanak Khalsa College, Droli Kalan, with the support of the Bhullar family, gave the final touch to this unfinished work by writing its last chapter, which is ready to reach the hands of the people. Autobiography 'Yaadaan da Darpan' This 164-page book has been published by Saptarishi Publication, Chandigarh. This autobiography will prove to be a guide for students working in the field of journalism or coming to this field, as well as a guide for general readers.
