Land Acquisition for Proposed IMT in Haryana Accelerated
Chandigarh, July 2:- Taking a significant step towards accelerating the expansion of industrial infrastructure in the state, the Haryana Government has appointed two HCS officers as Nodal Officers to supervise the land acquisition work for the proposed Industrial Model Township (IMT) in Ambala and Narayangarh.
Shri Darshan Kumar, Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil), Ambala has been appointed as the Nodal Officer for Land Acquisition for the proposed IMT, Ambala. He will discharge this responsibility in addition to his existing responsibilities.
Similarly, Ms. Shivjit Bharti, Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil), Narayangarh and Chief Executive Officer-cum-Executive Director, Narayangarh Sugar Mills have been appointed as the Nodal Officer for Land Acquisition for the proposed IMT, Narayangarh. They will also discharge this responsibility in addition to their existing duties. As per the orders issued by Chief Secretary Shri Anurag Rastogi, these officers have been appointed against newly created posts, so that the process of land acquisition for the proposed industrial projects can be expedited.
