Lamrin Tech Skills University Punjab celebrated its fourth Foundation Day
Hoshiarpur: Lamrin Tech Skills University, Punjab, celebrated its fourth Foundation Day with great enthusiasm and fervor. The university was founded on December 10, 2021, by the then Chief Minister of Punjab, Shri Charanjit Singh Channi. Established under State Act No. 22, 2021, Lamrin Tech Skills University, Punjab, is a first-of-its-kind skills university dedicated to equipping young people with skills for gainful employment.
Shri Nirmal Singh Raiyat, Chancellor of Lamrin University, was present as the Chief Guest on the occasion. He was warmly welcomed by the senior officials of the university. In his address, he thanked the faculty, staff, and students for organizing a meaningful event dedicated to the university's Foundation Day and the 350th martyrdom anniversary of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji.
To commemorate the occasion, a recitation of Sukhmani Sahib was performed. Students from Raiyat International School performed Shabad Kirtan, followed by Raas Bhila Kirtan by Bhai Gurpreet Singh Khalsa, Hazoori Raagi of Sri Harmandir Sahib, along with his band. Prayers were offered to seek blessings from the Gurus.
Shri Inderpal Singh Chadha, Director (Overseas) of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Study Circle, Ludhiana, enlightened the audience about the life and great sacrifice of Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji.
Registrar Prof. B.S. Satyial spoke about the unparalleled sacrifices of Bhai Sati Das, Bhai Mati Das, and Bhai Dayala Ji. Vice-Chancellor Dr. A.S. Chawla also spoke about the sacrifices of the Sikh Gurus.
Vimal Malhotra (CEO), Dr. Navneet Chopra, Dr. N.S. Gill, Dr. H.S. Dhami, Dr. Ashutosh Sharma, Dr. V.K. Saini, Er. Amardeep Singh, Er. Mandeep Attwal, Prof. Narinder Bhumbla, Prof. Gurpreet Saini, and other senior officials, staff, and students were present on the occasion. The event concluded with the distribution of langar (community meal) to all the attendees.
