Kiln workers burnt the effigy of the Punjab government

Nawanshahr 22nd May:- Today, the Kiln Workers Union (IFTU) burnt the effigy of the Punjab government at the kiln of village Soita in protest against the Punjab government not releasing the new list of wages of kiln workers and raised slogans against the Punjab government. Speaking on the occasion, IFTU State Secretary Avtar Singh Tari, District President of Kiln Workers Union Gurdial Rakkar, Veer Singh, Raju, Vijay, Ankush, Binder, Shiv Kumar said that earlier the governments used to release the list of wages of kiln workers in the month of March.
According to which the employers used to calculate the wages of the workers for the season, but due to the non-release of this list by the Mann government, the workers are not being calculated.
They demanded that this list be released without delay. He also supported the struggle being waged by the Lal Jhanda Kiln Workers Union for a 15 percent increase in the wages of kiln workers. Ravi, Parveen, Satinder, Om Pal, Subhash, Amrita, Gomi, Rajakali, Rita and Harviri were also present on this occasion.
