Kidnapping of innocent girl from Pehowa arrested at Ambala Cantt Railway Station
Ambala, May 17:- The Railway Police (GRP) acting with intelligence caught the kidnapper who was abducting a girl from Pehowa and taking her to Bihar at Ambala Cantt Railway Station and after interrogation handed him over to Pehowa Police. The kidnapper has been identified as Prakash, a resident of Purnia (Bihar), who was working as a farm labourer with a farmer in Pehowa and had abducted the innocent daughter of his fellow labourer and escaped on Saturday morning. In this regard, the victim's father had lodged a complaint with Pehowa Police.
According to information, Home Guard personnel patrolling at Cantt Railway Station saw a girl crying. She got scared on questioning. When the person who came with the girl was questioned strictly, he revealed the entire incident. The Pehowa police were immediately informed about the matter. From there, a police team came to Cantt and took the accused and the girl with them. The girl has been admitted to the hospital with injury marks on her face. The Pehowa police are interrogating the accused further.
During the initial interrogation, the accused Prakash claimed that he made the mistake of kidnapping the girl because he was very drunk. However, the girl's father Pawan refuted the accused's claims and said that the accused first befriended her. On the pretext of giving her work, he took her to Pehowa and then when the opportunity came, the accused kidnapped his daughter.
