Khuralgarh Sahib Road in Dilapidated State Administrative Negligence Heightens Risk of Accidents

Haroli/Una, April 19 (Rajveer Chopra):— The road leading to the holy pilgrimage sites of *Tap Sthan* (place of penance) Shri Khuralgarh Sahib and Charan Chhoh Ganga has fallen into a severely dilapidated state, causing immense hardship to devotees and local residents alike.
This vital thoroughfare connects *Tap Sthan* Shri Khuralgarh Sahib, Charan Chhoh Ganga, and the *Minar-e-Begampura*—a monument currently under construction by the government. Thousands of vehicles—ranging from scooters and motorcycles to small and large cars—traverse this route daily; yet, despite this heavy traffic, neither the district administration nor the Punjab government has paid any heed to the road's repair.
Of particular concern is a specific bend located a short distance from Charan Chhoh Ganga, where the road has remained broken for a prolonged period, becoming a recurring cause of accidents. According to locals, numerous accidents have already occurred at this spot in the past, yet the administration has failed to take any concrete remedial measures to date.
There is growing resentment among the public, who question why the administration appears to be waiting for a major tragedy to occur before taking action. They have demanded that the road be repaired as a matter of utmost urgency to ensure the safety of devotees and motorists, thereby preventing potential accidents.
