Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, November 3: As part of the campaign launched against drugs, the Kharar City Police arrested two accused and recovered 155 grams of Ice Drug from them.
Giving more information about this, Superintendent of Police Rural Manpreet Singh and DSP-1 Kharar, Karan Singh Sandhu said that on October 25, the Kharar City Police had recovered 55 grams of Ice Drug from a woman, who was identified as wife Duni Chand alias Vinod Kumar, resident of Ravindra Enclave, Baltana, Zirakpur Hall, resident of LIC Colony, Kharar. A case was registered against the said Mahal accused under Section 22 of the NDPS Act at the Kharar City Police Station.
Later, during her court appearance, during interrogation during remand, on the basis of the information given by her, a Nigerian male was arrested from Delhi and 100 grams of I-Strug was recovered from him. This accused has been identified as Kingsley Chinazo, resident of Nigeria, resident of Chandra Vihar, Shiv Vihar, New Delhi.
He informed that three cases have already been registered against the female accused under the NDPS Act;
1. Case No. 85 dated 09-07-2022 under Section 21 B NDPS Act, Police Station Mullanpur, District Mohali
2. Case No. 110 dated 01-10-2022 under Section 22-29 NDPS Act, Police Station Mullanpur, District Mohali
3. Case No. 166 dated 03-10-2023 under Section 22 NDPS Act, Police Station Balongi, District Mohali.
Similarly, case number 280/2021 under sections 8(c), 21(c) and 23 of the NDPS Act has been registered against accused Kingsley Chinoso at the Narcotics Control Bureau Police Station, Delhi.
