Garhshankar, November 13:- Sri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College Mahilpur team, which performed well in the inter-college volleyball tournament (boys) held at Panjab University Chandigarh recently, secured third position and received bronze medal from the university administrators.
Speaking on the occasion, college principal Dr. Parvinder Singh, volleyball team coach Prof. Iqbal Singh and team manager Dr. Jatinder Kumar said that the college players have performed brilliantly in the inter-college volleyball tournament.
He said that volleyball teams of colleges affiliated to Panjab University participated in this tournament and the college team has enhanced the pride of the institution by winning the bronze medal.
On this occasion, the office bearers and staff of the college management committee also wished the team coach Prof. Iqbal Singh, team manager Dr. Jatinder Kumar and the players and students.
