Kalash Yatra started from Varanasi given grand welcome in Ambala City
Ambala, 5 August- To celebrate the 650th birth anniversary of Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas Ji, the holy Kalash Yatra being taken out from the holy birthplace of Varanasi was given a grand welcome with reverence and enthusiasm on reaching Shri Guru Ravidas Temple situated at Ravidas Basti of Ambala City. On the arrival of Kalash Yatra in Ambala, Haryana's former Minister Asim Goel, BJP District President Mandeep Rana, District Coordinator Rajesh Batora, BJP councillors and a large number of local devotees welcomed the Yatra by bowing and showering flowers.
On this occasion former Minister Asim Goel reverently lifted the holy Kalash on his head and took it to Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas Temple where it was duly installed. He said that the holy soil brought in the Kalash will be distributed reverently in all mandals of Ambala district so that more devotees can connect with the message and blessings of Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas Ji. Devotees bowed to the holy Kalash and reiterated their resolve to spread his message of goodwill, equality and humanity to everyone.
It is worth mentioning that to celebrate the 650th Jayanti of Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas Ji, various religious and social programs are being organized across the country. In this context, the holy Kalash Yatra is reaching various states and cities which spreads the message of social harmony, equality and brotherhood.
On this occasion former Minister Asim Goel said that Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas Ji had given the message of equality. His teachings are still relevant today. We all should follow his path to make our life meaningful. He further said that the state government has honoured great men by celebrating their birth anniversaries. He said that his famous message, "Man Changa To Kathoti Mein Ganga" teaches that if your mind is pure and clean then you do not need to go to any pilgrimage place; God resides within you itself.
On this occasion BJP District President Mandeep Rana also addressed. BJP State Vice President Banto Kataria, Mandal Presidents Aman Sood, Gurvinder Singh Manakpur, Gurjant Singh, Councillors Monika Mall, Varinder Nath, Kavita Ashu Saini, Shivani Sood, Rajiv, Naresh, Mukesh Lakkha, Swaran Saini, Beenu Garg, Rajesh, Rajneesh Bhalla, Dr. Abhishek Sahota, Amit Sahota, Sukhwinder Saunda, Sukhdarshan Saunda, Sanjeev Goel Tony including other BJP officials, devotees and dignitaries were present.
Similarly, a Kalash Vandan Yatra is being organized in Saha also to celebrate the 650th birth anniversary of Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj, regarding which a program was organized today at Saha Chowk in which former Minister Santosh Chauhan Sarwan, BJP District President Mandeep Rana, District General Secretary Karamchand Goldy, Vivek Gupta, Mandal Presidents and others participated. They offered flowers before the picture of Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas Ji and received the Guru's blessings.
Former Minister Santosh Chauhan Sarwan on this occasion informed that Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini had flagged off the Kalash (earthen pot) for Kalash Vandan Yatra from the birthplace of Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj in Guru Gram yesterday. This Kalash Vandan Yatra will reach every village of Haryana and will cover every Vidhan Sabha constituency. He said that Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas Ji gave the message of equality. His teachings are still relevant today. We all should follow his path and make our life meaningful.
