Garhshankar, 5th February:- A joint meeting of labourers, employees, farmers was held here today under the chairmanship of Parvesh Kumar. Addressing the meeting, CITU leader Mahendra Kumar Badoan, Gurbaksh Kor Khet Mazdoora's Mahendra Ram farmers' leader Asha Nand said that the Modi government has passed four bills against labourers, farmers. Against these bills, 10 major trade unions and employees' federations of the country are going to go on a nationwide strike on 12th February.
In Hoshiarpur district too, a massive strike will be held and a gherao will be held in front of the bus stand. The road will be blocked. All the comrades presented their respective views in this regard. It was decided to involve more than 1000 comrades.
The leaders said that the fight against these bills will continue even after February 12 unless they are withdrawn. In this meeting, the budget presented by the Modi government in which nothing is for the workers, employees, farmers and the common people and everything is for the corporates. They condemned this budget. Satya Devi, Pramod, Vishal Gupta, Sukhbir Singh, Baldev Raj, Harmesh Lal, Surinder Kaur attended this meeting.
