JNUSU elections Aditi Mishra becomes president Left wins all four posts

New Delhi: Left-wing Aditi Mishra has won the Jawaharlal Nehru University Students' Union (JNUSU) president election. She got 1,861 votes. She defeated ABVP's Vikas Patel, who got 1,447 votes. Aditi won the election by a margin of 414 votes.
The Left Front won four central panel posts. For the vice-president's election, K. Gopika registered a decisive victory for the Left. She secured 2,966 votes, while ABVP's Tanya Kumari got 1,730 votes.
In a close contest for the post of General Secretary, Left's Sunil Yadav won with 1,915 votes, ABVP's Rajeshwar Kant Dubey got 1,841 votes. Danish Ali won the post of Joint Secretary by securing 1,991 votes. While ABVP's Anuj Damara got 1,762 votes. Earlier, during the counting, there was a clash between supporters of the Left and Right factions, but the guards deployed by the university restored peace
