Kapurthala:- A warm tribute was paid to the eminent playwright Late. Jatinder Brar Ji in the courtyard of Rupowali Rangmanch Bhawan. The chief guest in this program was District Language Officer Madam Jaspreet Kaur, special guest eminent playwright Harkanwaljit Sahil and farmer leader Adv. Rajinder Singh Rana. The program was presided over by IPTA Kapurthala President Dr. Harbhajan Singh.
Apart from the presentation of cultural songs and dances by young children, Vijay Mavi made his presence felt through songs.
Lok Kala Manch IPTA Kapurthala presented the play "Arman" written by Late. Jatinder Brar Ji under the direction of Inderjit Rupowali. The performance of Sarabjit Rupowali, Inderjit Rupowali, Aanchal, Deepak Nahar, Arnav Nahar, Yashpreet Jassi in the role of artists in the play moved the audience. Dr. Lovepreet Kaur ji, like every time, provided financial support to the team and the guests who came were honored with a gift of Arik Herbal by Madam Niva.
Madam Swaraj Kaur, Mr. Jaswant Singh, Comrade Mukand Singh, farmer leader Sarwan Singh Karamjitpur, Ranjit Sapna, Kashmir Bajraur and Anil Sharma were especially present in this program. Sharanjit Sohal and Lal Krishna played an important role in making this program a success.
