Hoshiarpur- Disabled Person Welfare Society Registered Hoshiarpur has been working for the welfare of the disabled for a long time! It always strives to give equal rights to the disabled and unique efforts are also made from time to time to present their skills to the society.
A meeting of the society was held under the leadership of President Sandeep Sharma and General Secretary Rajkumar. In this meeting, the society has decided to invite 4 teams to the Interstate Blind T-20 Cricket Tournament to be held in the month of November. This time, teams from Punjab, Haryana, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh will participate in the tournament.
Three teams were invited in the tournament held in 2024. Punjab, Delhi and Uttar Pradesh were included. Society executive members Deepak Sharma and Pawan Kumar said that the society had contacted many teams. But due to the tournaments going on in different states, only four teams will participate this time.
These four teams will play 6 matches and the team that wins two consecutive matches will be given the final match. In the meeting, all the members have informed that the accommodation and food arrangements for the four teams have been completed.
Lecturer Prabhjot Singh also gave information about the duties of the physical education teachers working in schools. He said that in addition to the famous personalities of the city, famous personalities are also reaching this tournament.
