Mohali: 250 were checked in a free wellness health camp organized at Park Grecian Hospital Mohali on the occasion of International Men's Day today. The camp was organized in association with Save Indian Family, Chandigarh Chapter. Apart from the camp, an awareness session on physical, mental and emotional well-being of men was also organized.
During the camp, ECG heart screening, blood test, blood sugar, BP check, general eye check, bone density test for men above 50 years and free consultation with Park Grecian specialist were conducted.
In the awareness session, Park doctors spoke on special topics like prostate cancer awareness, mental health and stress management and the increasing risk of heart attack in men due to lifestyle and work pressure.
Speaking on the occasion, CEO Park Grecian Hospital Dr Rohit Jaswal stressed on the hospital’s commitment to providing advanced medical capabilities and world-class care to the community.
Representatives from Save Indian Families also stressed the need for greater focus on men’s health, wellness and social support, noting that healthy men contribute to strong families and strong societies.
