Nawanshahr:- Under the leadership of Human Rights Awareness Manch Society Nawanshahr President Vasdev Pardesi, a children's painting competition was organized at Baba Wazir Singh Khalsa Senior Secondary School Slough Road Nawanshahr on the occasion of International Human Rights Day. On this occasion, the society also gave certificates of appreciation to the children.
Speaking on the occasion, President Vasdev Pardesi said that along with rights, we should also follow our duties. He said that International Human Rights Day is celebrated on December 10 every year. On this occasion, the school's principal Sardar Jasvir Singh and others praised and thanked the commendable work done by the society.
Apart from Principal Jasbir Singh, staff members Kamal, Sandeep Kaur, Surjit Kaur, Sukhjinder Singh, Rekha, Bandana, Anju, Asu and Navjit Singh were present on this occasion.
