Inspection of School Buses 04 Buses Issued Challans
Sherpur/Sangrur, 22 May- In compliance with the guidelines issued by the Department of Social Security and Women and Child Development, Punjab, a special inspection of school buses was conducted in the Sherpur area. This inspection drive was carried out with the objective of ensuring the safety of school children and strengthening compliance with the safety standards implemented in school vehicles.
During the inspection, a total of 10 school buses were checked, out of which 4 buses violating the safety rules were issued challans (fined). The team conducted an in-depth verification of the required vehicle documents, first-aid boxes, fire safety arrangements, and other mandatory safety parameters.
On this occasion, the concerned drivers and management officials were instructed to ensure complete compliance with the rules related to children's safety.
The inspection team included Mr. Pawan Kumar, S.I. (Police Department), Mr. Balwinder Singh, A.S.I. (Police Department), Mr. Ram Pratap, A.S.I. (Police Department), Mr. Rupinder Singh (District Child Protection Office Sangrur), and Mr. Samandeep Singh (Education Department).
The team made it clear that the safety of school children is the top priority, and for this purpose, such inspection drives will continue regularly in the future as well, so that compliance with safety rules in school vehicles can be ensured and any kind of negligence can be prevented.
