Ratia, December 6: The Olympiad examination, organized by the Lions Olympiad Foundation, Delhi, commenced at Guru Nanak International Senior Secondary School, Ratia, in a highly enthusiastic and disciplined atmosphere. Students participated in the examination held on the school campus with full dedication, confidence, and commitment. Students were particularly enthusiastic at the examination center from the morning, while the school administration ensured all necessary arrangements for the smooth conduct of the examination.
On this occasion, Lions Quest Chairman Gopal Chand Kulriyan expressed his views, saying, "Education is the most powerful medium for children's progress in life, and competitions instill confidence, discipline, and a sense of competition. Initiatives like the Lions Olympiad strengthen students' intellectual abilities and prepare them mentally for future challenges."
He also stated that such competitions enhance children's logical thinking, analytical abilities, and creativity, which are essential for their all-round development. This not only strengthens their academic achievements but also helps them become confident and responsible citizens.
School Principal Neha Bhatia stated that a total of 24 students participated in the General Knowledge Olympiad exam. The students displayed immense enthusiasm and a spirit of healthy competition. All participants participated in the exam in a disciplined manner, demonstrating a growing interest and awareness of academic pursuits.
Praising the students, the school's Managing Director, Gagandeep Saini, said, "Such academic competitions inculcate important life values ??such as discipline, time management, persistent hard work, and self-reliance in children's lives.
The Olympiad is not just an exam; it is a platform that inspires children to test themselves, recognize their abilities, and continuously progress. In today's competitive world, the importance of such platforms is even greater because they teach children to face challenges from an early age."
He further stated that the Lions Olympiad Foundation Delhi continuously strives for the all-round development of students through activities such as pre-examination guidance, study materials, and post-examination result analysis and encouragement, which motivates children to continue to progress.
He added that in the 2024–25 session, the Foundation honored three outstanding students of Class 10 with gold medals, which will undoubtedly serve as a source of inspiration for other students. Such awards inculcate the spirit of excellent performance in children and motivate them to set higher goals in life.
Zone Chairman Pradeep Bansal, Secretary Raju Arora, Senior Lion Veerbhan Bansal and Sukhcharan Das Arora, Nishu Jain, Monika, Kavita Giri Ginni Baghla, Rose Deep, Lovepreet Monga, Anu Gaba, Ramandeep etc. from the school were present during the Olympiad examination. On this occasion Lion Gopal Chand presented his translated book 'Apne Log' to Principal Madam Neha Bhatia. Madam Neha Bhatia expressed her gratitude to all the Lions members.
