Haroli/Una, July 22 (Rajveer Chopra): An induction and orientation program was organized for newly admitted students at Prof. Simmi Agnihotri Government College, Haroli. The objective of the program was to familiarize students with the college's academic environment, various activities, rules, and available facilities.
Welcoming the students, College Principal Dr. Rajendra Kumar highlighted the importance of higher education. He encouraged the students to maintain discipline and study regularly, while also fostering a positive mindset and actively participating in co-curricular activities. He emphasized that college life is a crucial phase for personality development, leadership building, and shaping a bright future; therefore, students should make the most of every opportunity.
During the program, students were provided with detailed information regarding the college's various committees, the library, NSS, sports, cultural activities, the examination system, scholarship schemes, and other academic and co-curricular facilities. Their queries were also addressed.
At the conclusion of the program, the newly admitted students expressed their gratitude to the college administration and faculty and resolved to embark on their new academic session with enthusiasm.
