Indira Devi Charitable Trust Organizes 12th Grand Sai Bhandara

Hisar: The Indira Devi Charitable Trust organized its 12th grand *Bhandara* (community feast) with immense enthusiasm at the Sai Temple established near Barwala Chungi in Hisar. This *Bhandara* was not merely limited to being a religious event; rather, it emerged as a living embodiment of service, moral values, and self-reliance. More than 600 devotees participated in this religious gathering and feast, taking an active and enthusiastic part in the offering of *Sai Bhog* (sacred food) and the *Kirtan* (devotional singing).
On this occasion, Hisar Municipal Corporation Mayor Praveen Popli paid his obeisance at the temple, offering *Bhog* at the feet of Sai Baba. He offered prayers with deep devotion and participated in the *Kirtan*. During the event, Rajat Gupta, President of the Indira Devi Charitable Trust, shared details regarding the Trust's various social initiatives.
Rajat Gupta highlighted that since 2015, the Trust has provided free skill training to over 12,000 young women, thereby empowering them to become self-reliant and independent. Furthermore, a pledge was presented to society to empower 25,000 young women under the "Har Ghar Udyami Mission 2030" (Every Household an Entrepreneur Mission), marking a robust step towards the construction of a 'New India.' Expressing his gratitude to all the guests and devotees, Rajat Gupta remarked that true nation-building occurs only when the objective of service extends beyond mere charity to encompass the actual transformation of an individual's life.
The occasion was further enlivened by the performances of devotional singers Sumit Mittal and Devika; their renditions, steeped in the essence of devotion, permeated the entire atmosphere with the spirit of Sai. The devotees were deeply moved and overwhelmed with emotion amidst this beautiful confluence of devotion and service. Present on this occasion were Sushil Kaushik, Ashok Kaushik, Hariom Mangali Wale, Sumit Mittal, K.P. Gupta, Anil Goyal (Head of the Swadeshi Mela for the Swadeshi Jagran Manch), Suresh Jakhar, Manjit Sangwan, Vivek Bishnoi, Kapil Pandit, Priyanka, Shilpa, Mannat, Thoshani, Sarthak Gupta, Sadhika, Ankush, Raveena, Sushila, Sukhbir, Satendra, Jaiveer, as well as students and staff members of the Indira Devi Charitable Trust.

Today, as the nation advances towards a self-reliant India (*Atmanirbhar Bharat*), initiatives such as those undertaken by the Indira Devi Charitable Trust serve as proof that true change stems not merely from policies, but from sincere efforts made at the grassroots level.
