Indian national killed in attack at Kuwait airport
Dubai: An Indian national has been killed in an attack targeting Kuwait International Airport, officials said on Wednesday. The Indian Embassy in Kuwait has posted a post on social media platform 'X'. Through this post, they have expressed deep sorrow and grief over the tragic death of an Indian national in the attack at Kuwait airport today.
The Indian Embassy also said that it is in constant touch with the Kuwaiti authorities to provide all possible help and assistance to the victim's family as well as those injured in the attack.
Kuwait's official news agency 'KUNA' quoted Civil Aviation Spokesperson Abdullah Al-Rajhi as saying that the attacks carried out by Iran on Wednesday targeted the airport's 'Terminal One'. Many people were injured or killed in this attack, and the airport building and facilities were also severely damaged, after which Kuwait completely stopped the movement of aircraft (flights).
