Hoshiarpur:- An important meeting of the Employee-Pensioner Joint Front was held at Mahilpur under the leadership of Narinder Ajnoha Block President of PASF and Malkit Singh Bahowal. Addressing the meeting, Makhan Singh Langeri, Amarjit Kumar, Paramjit Katib and Kamaljit Kaur Kharadi said that the Punjab government has decided to surround the Chandigarh Vidhan Sabha to restore the old pension, regularize all types of employees working on raw and honorarium, abolish TET, give a multiplier of 2.59 to pensioners, pay commission and DA arrears, restore 37 allowances and ACP, cancel the Central Pay Commission and many other rightful and legitimate demands.
The leaders said that at present the employees and pensioners of Punjab are getting 25% less salary and pension. The leaders appealed to the employees and pensioners to participate in this gherao in large numbers.
