Jalandhar:- Students of the Civil Engineering Department of IKG PTU Jalandhar strengthened their practical knowledge by conducting various important experiments in the Concrete Technology Lab.
Head of the Department Dr. Rajeev Chauhan informed the students about the importance of the equipment used in the lab and said that practical knowledge is very important to become a successful civil engineer.
The students conducted important experiments like Slump Test, Compaction Factor Test, Compression Strength Test (CTM) of Concrete, Sieve Analysis of Aggregate, Workability Test and Non-Destructive Testing.
On this occasion, Technical Assistant Mr. Salinder Singh and Assistant Professor Mr. Lovepreet Walia explained the use of machines by conducting experiments to the students.
During this, Dr. Ranjit Singh was also present and motivated the students to take interest in practical work. This initiative is an important step towards making the students technically strong and ready for the industry.
