Garhshankar 25 November: Recently on 19 November, a news was published in "Paigam-E-Jagat" newspaper about the barricade placed in the middle of the main highway road near Garhshankar Kot complex and the ditch on the road, which had an impact on the officials and the department started filling the potholes. 
In this regard, it was written in *Paigam-E-Jagat* newspaper that the condition of the link road from Garhshankar to Hoshiarpur, which connects various villages, is pathetic. At the same time, for a long time, the road near the court complex has taken the form of a big pothole and a large part of the road has broken down. 
But till now no action has been taken to repair this road. Yesterday a truck had an accident due to the barricade placed in the middle of the road, but till now the administration has not tried to fill the big potholes on this road nor remove the barrage placed in the middle of the road. While talking, shopkeepers of the city said that the representatives of various political parties have only done politics regarding this road. But no work has been done. 
But when the journalist of *Paigam-e-Jagat* newspaper of Gadhshankar published the news, only then this matter was brought to the notice of the Public Works Department. The concerned department took action on this problem. The barricade that had been installed for a long time in the middle of the main highway near the Gadhshankar Kot complex was removed and the big pit in the middle of the road was filled. This prevented future accidents.
