Immigration expert Harvinder Badalia emphasized strengthening IndiaCanada relations

Hoshiarpur: In a special interview, Harvinder Badalia, a Canada-based immigration expert and director of VCan Immigration, discussed the positive aspects and future prospects of India-Canada relations, rather than focusing on the challenges.
During the interview, Badalia stated that while some diplomatic challenges have arisen from time to time, the foundation of India-Canada relations remains strong, with deep people-to-people connections, educational exchanges, and economic cooperation playing a key role.
He said that the Indian diaspora in Canada plays a crucial role in strengthening cultural ties, trade, and partnerships between the two countries.
“Indians living in Canada are making significant contributions in fields such as technology, healthcare, and entrepreneurship, and are acting as a bridge between the two nations,” Badalia said.
Speaking about political leadership and future partnerships, Badalia also mentioned that Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney's upcoming visit to India will play a significant role in further strengthening relations between India and Canada.
Badalia also emphasized that thousands of Indian students come to Canada every year for higher education, facilitating the exchange of knowledge and global experience between the two countries. He added that simplified and transparent visa processes and immigration policies can further enhance mutual trust and cooperation.
Concluding the interview, Badalia expressed hope for stronger partnerships in education, business, and community development.
The conversation ended on a positive note, with the belief that India-Canada relations are people-centric, robust, and hold immense potential for further growth in the future.
