Hoshiarpur:- The newly appointed in-charge of Hoshiarpur constituency by Shiromani Akali Dal, Sanjeev Talwar, while addressing a large gathering of workers at his residence today said that he will go to the grassroots level and prepare the ground for the strength of the party. He said that Shiromani Akali Dal is the only party in Punjab that has always stood for Hindu-Sikh unity and understood the real pain and suffering of Punjabis.
On this occasion, Varinder Singh Bajwa (former Rajya Sabha member) expressed confidence that the Akali Dal will achieve a big victory by working hard on all the seats in the district. He said that the benefit of the party's strong cadre will definitely be seen in the upcoming elections.
Sohan Singh Thandal (former minister) lashed out at the failures of the current government and said that today every section has recognized the government's politics of 'lies and deceit'.
Lakhwinder Singh Lakhi (District President Rural) said that the long political experience and passion for work of the Talwar family will prove to be important in winning the Hoshiarpur seat.
During the function, Iqbal Singh Gopi, Bikramjit Singh Kalsi, Prem Singh Purhira, Sarabjit Momi were specially honored for the new responsibilities entrusted by the party.
