Huge Turnout at Public Welfare Fair Detailed Information on Government Schemes Provided
Haryana/Hisar: A 'Lok Kalyan Mela' (Public Welfare Fair) was organized at the Municipal Council premises. The primary objective of the fair was to inform the general public about government-run public welfare schemes and to ensure that eligible citizens could avail themselves of the benefits of these schemes.
LDM Rajesh Jindal attended the event as the chief guest, while Municipal Council CEO Rajendra Soni presided over the proceedings. Both officials provided detailed information about various public-interest schemes to the citizens attending the fair and encouraged them to maximize the benefits of these programs.
The officials apprised citizens of the benefits of paying property tax on time, explaining that timely tax payment not only leads to better amenities for residents but also accelerates urban development works. Additionally, information regarding the various services and facilities provided by the Municipal Council was shared.
At the fair, eligible beneficiaries were informed about the application processes, necessary documents, and eligibility criteria for various government schemes. Officials stated that the aim of such events is to take these schemes to the last person in line and ensure that the needy receive direct benefits.
During the event, applications were received from approximately 30 beneficiaries under the 'SVANidhi' scheme. Rajesh Jindal remarked that the district administration is continuously striving for the convenience and development of citizens and is committed to ensuring that the benefits of government schemes reach the maximum number of eligible individuals.
Municipal Council officials, staff members, and a large number of citizens were present on the occasion.
