How can possible accidents be prevented Traffic rules should be known Upkar Singh

Patiala:- Today, while celebrating Road Safety Awareness Month at Government Girls Senior Secondary School New Power House Colony, Gyan Jyoti Education Society Patiala, a prominent social worker Upkar Singh said that we should pay attention to traffic rules while walking on the road. There is a lot of fog these days. To save precious lives, the police should take immediate steps by identifying potential places and intensify patrolling.
He said that we should give information about traffic rules at the school level. Awareness clubs should be formed in schools. They can inform the students of traffic rules in collaboration with the students of class 6 to 12. Along with this, the police will also be helped. The general public should also drive their scooters, cars, etc. correctly according to the rules. They should not drive vehicles under the influence of alcohol or any other intoxicant. Strict action should be taken against those who park vehicles in the wrong way, overspeed, drive vehicles under the influence of alcohol and violate traffic rules. Principal Satish Kumar, while addressing the students, said that if there is an accident on the road, helping the injured is the best and most benevolent act of the society. Following traffic rules is the first duty of every citizen. The lines made on the roads, the lights installed at the intersections and the traffic signs should be followed honestly. We are going to form a traffic awareness club in our school from today itself.
The principal and society members administered an oath to the students, urging them to motivate themselves and others to follow traffic rules.
