Hoshiarpur:- MLA Brahm Shankar Jimpa inaugurated the Hoshiarpur Craft Bazaar at Dussehra Ground in Hoshiarpur. A large number of city residents, business community and dignitaries were present on the occasion. MLA Jimpa said that such events not only promote traditional crafts and local culture, but also boost tourism, employment and the city's economy.
The MLA said that artisans and traders from different states of the country have set up their stalls in the craft bazaar, where traditional dishes, handicrafts, decorative items and fashion items from different states are available. Special arrangements have been made for children and youth in the bazaar, which includes swings from different countries and regions, which have become the center of attraction.
Apart from this, food court, shopping stalls from across the country and singing and dancing competitions are also attracting tourists. The main attractions of the craft market include special arrangements like London City Gate, Niagara Falls, Selfie Point and Snowfall, where people are creating memorable moments with family and friends.
MLA Jimpa said that such creative and entertaining events play an important role in giving a cultural identity to Hoshiarpur. Fair organizers Rajendra Jain and Sunil Gandhi said that the Hoshiarpur Craft Market will be open to the public from 12 noon to 10 pm daily.
