HOPES2025 International Conference concluded at Rayat Bahra Professional University

Hoshiarpur- ‘HOPES-2025’ International Conference was organized by the University School of Pharmaceutical Sciences of Rayat Bahra Professional University.
The conference began with the welcome address of Dr. Maninder Pal Singh, Director-Principal and Convener. He informed that this event was organized in collaboration with Indian Pharmacy Graduates Association (IPGA), Punjab State Branch. On this occasion, Prof. (Dr.) Rajiv Sood, Vice Chancellor, Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot, was present as the chief guest, while Rayat Bahra Professional University Chancellor Gurvinder Singh Bahra and Vice Chancellor Dr. Chandra Mohan was specially present.
Gurvinder Singh Bahra in his address emphasized the importance of research, innovation and departmental collaboration. He said that the university is moving towards global excellence to strengthen pharmaceutical education and health system.
Dr. Chandra Mohan praised the organizing team and said that such forums provide an effective opportunity for scientific exchange and development of new ideas.
IPGA Punjab State Branch President Prof. (Dr.) Suresh Kumar and General Secretary Prof. (Dr.) Baljit Singh Khurana along with their entire team were present at the event.
Renowned scholars from India and abroad shared their views in the plenary sessions, including Prof. (Dr.) Zeliha Selamoglu (Nigde Omer Halisdemir University, Turkey), Dr. Alan Tan Seng Lun (Sunway Biofunctional Molecules Discovery Center, Malaysia), Dr. Rajinder Khanal (Merck K.G.A.A., Germany), Dr. Rajiv Kumar Singla (West China Hospital, Sichuan University, China), Dr. Harish Chandra (National Institute of Biologicals, Noida), Prof. (Dr.) Amit Bhatia (MRSPTU, Bathinda), Prof. (Dr.) Richa Shri (Punjabi University, Patiala) and Prof. (Dr.) Anju Goyal (Rayat Bahra University, Mohali) were present.
More than 800 participants from India and abroad registered. Out of 295 research presentations, 220 were selected. The publication of a special issue in the Journal of Applied Medical Sciences (JAPS) was also announced during the conference.
Giddha, Bhangra, dance and songs were presented by the students on this occasion. The best research paper and poster awards were distributed at the closing ceremony. Finally, Dr. Chandra Mohan thanked all the guests and participants. Dr. Pradeep Mattoo (Former Joint Commissioner, FDA Punjab) and Sameer Kant Ahuja (Baba Farid University) were also specially present.
