Hookah smoked the movement gained momentum
Karnal: The farmers' protest, led by the Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU), demanding a service lane on the Karnal Ring Road, continues to grow in strength. The protest entered its 23rd day on Saturday. The protesting farmers once again raised slogans against NHAI officials and expressed their anger. Farmer leader Ranjit Singh Jalmana presided over the protest.
He said that it has been 23 days since the farmers have been protesting, but surprisingly, the district administration remains in deep slumber. The farmers are protesting in a completely peaceful and disciplined manner, yet the administration has yet to address them. The farmers warned that if the issue is not resolved soon, the administration could face the farmers' anger. The farmers' spirits remained high at the protest site.
A different picture of the farmers was seen during the protest. They sat together, smoking hookahs, and seriously discussing the movement's future strategy. The farmers stated clearly that they would not end their protest until their demand for a service lane on the Ring Road was met. They stated that the administration's continued indifference would no longer be tolerated. The farmers reiterated that this struggle was linked to their rights and future, and they would continue the movement until their last breath.
