Karnal, December 7: Guru Teg Bahadur Public School, Model Town Karnal celebrated its 42nd Foundation Day with great enthusiasm. Shri Akhand Path Sahib was launched on 5th December and on the occasion of closing on 7th December the students recited stories by kirtan and ragi group.
The Management Committee and Principal Harwinder Singh awarded trophies to the students who performed well in the annual examination, cultural and other activities. Meanwhile, the members of the management committee and other dignitaries were also felicitated.
The forum was moderated by Smt. Sandeep Preet Kaur and Poonam Sharma. The Silver Jubilee was celebrated on the completion of 25 years of continuous tenure of the Management Committee and shawls and mementos were presented to the members.
Managing Committee members Sardar Paramjit Singh Kharbanda, Sardar Gurusharan Singh Kharbanda, Sardar Surinder Pal Singh Pasricha, Sardar Avtar Singh, KL Tandon and other members welcomed the guests. Langar was arranged at the end of the program.
